ELC Haverhill uses a more holistic approach to adolescent development, through individual growth and community involvement. The program aims to educate, enrich, empower, and equip young people with the life, social, and relational skills needed to be a positive influence, and make an impact in their community.
Cultivate
Clients are challenged and encouraged to apply learned skills to navigate challenges and increase resilience. Real-world experiences help develop practical life skills and partnerships from the community provide opportunities to build competencies that foster self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship.
Curate
The curriculum continuously evolves to cut out less effective elements and incorporate new strategies based on outcomes. Only the most impactful community collaborations are curated to enhance students' learning. The goal is to support clients as they gain the abilities and mindset to direct their own development for success.
